The invention discloses a silicon carbide particle catcher with a silicon dioxide protective film. The silicon carbide particle catcher comprises the following components in parts by weight: 72-78 parts of silicon carbide powder, 12-18 parts of silicon powder, 6-9 parts of silicon oxide powder, 40-52 parts of talcum powder, 20-35 parts of aluminum oxide, 8-15 parts of kaolin, 6-9 parts of stearic acid with the concentration of 5-10%, 1-5 parts of methyl cellulose and 1-5 parts of shell powder. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the silicon combined silicon carbide particle catcher. By adopting the design provided by the invention, a silicon dioxide protective film which wraps the main body material and has relatively high porosity can be formed, so that the strength of the product is improved on the premise of keeping the original filtering performance.
