Method for preheating stirring paddle by using Rhine process
The invention relates to a method for preheating a stirring paddle by a Rhine method. The method comprises the following steps of: baking a new online stirring paddle above the liquid level of fully-wrapped molten iron by 100-300mm for 2-3 minutes; immersing the lower part of the blade of the stirring paddle into the molten iron by 200-400mm, and rotating the stirring paddle at the speed of not more than 30 revolutions per minute at the same time; lifting the stirring paddle for 1-2 minutes; then downward immersing is conducted by 200-400 mm, and the operation process is repeated; and the whole stirring paddle is preheated until the shaft part above the paddle blade of the stirring paddle is immersed into the molten iron by 300-500mm. The method has the beneficial effects that (1) the stirring paddle refractory material is well sintered, and the strength of the refractory material is improved; and the service life of the stirring paddle can be prolonged by 30-50 times. 2) compared with the conventional stirring paddle preheating, the production time can be saved by 8-10 minutes, and the production efficiency is improved; and 3) the method can be used for preheating the stirring paddle and also can be used for baking the repaired stirring paddle.
