The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically opening and closing a trunk lid, the apparatus comprising: an actuator having a first end configured to be coupled to a vehicle body and a second end configured to be coupled to an articulated arm, the articulated arm coupled to the trunk lid; a closure trigger link having a first end rotatably coupled to the actuator; an opening trigger link rotatably coupled to the closing trigger link; a spring assembly pin having a first end coupled to the closing trigger link and the opening trigger link; and a spring having a first end coupled to the second end of the spring assembly pin and a second end configured to be coupled to a vehicle body or configured to be mounted on a panel of the vehicle body.
