The invention discloses ecological foam concrete and a preparation method thereof. Comprising the following raw materials: 33.1%-44.0% of ordinary Portland cement, 0.6%-1.2% of XPS particles, 6.5%-8.8% of fly ash, 2.1%-3.0% of bone glue powder, 3.2%-8.7% of perlite particles, 1.7%-2.7% of nano titanium dioxide, 1.3%-3.0% of nano silicon dioxide, 0.6%-1.9% of alkali-resistant glass fibers, 1.3%-1.7% of a silane impregnant, 3.4%-4.0% of a rubber emulsion, 1.3%-1.7% of a silane coupling agent, 1.1%-1.5% of an accelerator, 0.5%-0.7% of an early strength agent and 0.3%-0.4% of a water reducing agent. The foaming agent comprises, by weight, 1.4%-3.7% of compound foaming agent diluent, 0.01%-0.03% of foam stabilizer and the balance water. According to the invention, by using the nano silicon dioxide photocatalyst and utilizing the high light transmission of XPS particles and the refractivity of first-grade perlite particles, the scattering and spreading range of sunlight ultraviolet rays in the internal pore wall structure of the foam concrete is improved, the illumination intensity is improved, and the driving efficiency of the photocatalyst for degrading pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and formaldehyde is enhanced; the degradation efficiency of the ecological concrete on environmental pollutants is integrally improved.
