The invention discloses a method for preparing high-strength building gypsum through chemical modification of titanium gypsum. The method comprises the following steps: pretreating the titanium gypsum, mixing titanium gypsum composition materials, heating and frying the mixture, re-selecting and secondarily frying, storing impurities to prepare a finished product and the like. The additive composed of the outer glass fiber and the heavy calcium powder is adopted, the characteristics of good insulativity, high heat resistance and good corrosion resistance of the glass fiber are utilized, and the characteristics of high whiteness, high purity, soft hue, stable chemical components and the like of the heavy calcium powder are matched, so that the glass fiber and the titanium gypsum material are subjected to a comprehensive chemical reaction during heating and frying, and the heat resistance and the corrosion resistance of the glass fiber are improved. Meanwhile, a layer of colorless, transparent and uvioresistant breathable film which cannot be perceived by naked eyes can be formed on the surface of a building after the building gypsum is sprayed on the surface of the building, and when rainwater blows the film or wet air is encountered, water drops can naturally flow to prevent moisture from invading, so that the building gypsum has a good waterproof effect; and good waterproofness is achieved.
