The invention discloses a water glass modifier, a modified water glass sand mold as well as a preparation process and application of the modified water glass sand mold. The water glass modifier is obtained by adding sodium polyphosphate into a water-soluble sodium polyacrylate solution for reaction; the modified sodium silicate sand mold is obtained by mixing a sodium silicate modifier and sodium silicate. The water glass modifier is used for carrying out composite modification treatment on the water glass, so that the bonding capacity of the water glass can be improved, the residual strength is reduced, and the collapsibility of the water glass sand is improved; the preparation process disclosed by the invention adopts integral modeling, and does not need a binding agent among a plurality of mold plates and a drying process; compared with a common sodium silicate sand mold, the modified sodium silicate sand mold prepared through the technology has the advantages that the binding capacity of sodium silicate is improved, the residual strength is reduced, and the collapsibility of the sodium silicate sand is improved. Moreover, the prepared modified sodium silicate sand mold is non-toxic and free of pungent smell, the preparation process is simple, and the current process specification of a workshop is not changed; and the prepared modified water glass has good uniformity and stability.
本发明公开了水玻璃改性剂、改性水玻璃砂型及其制备工艺、应用,该水玻璃改性剂通过将多聚磷酸钠加入水溶性聚丙烯酸钠溶液中反应获得;该改性水玻璃砂型为将水玻璃改性剂与水玻璃混合获得。通过该水玻璃改性剂对水玻璃进行复合改性处理,能够提高水玻璃的粘结能力、降低残留强度、改善水玻璃砂的溃散性;本发明的制备工艺采用整体造型,无需多块型板间的粘结剂、烘干工序;采用本发明所述工艺制备的改性水玻璃砂型与普通水玻璃砂型相比:提高了水玻璃的粘结能力,降低了残留强度,改善了水玻璃砂的溃散性。并且,本发明制备的改性水玻璃砂型无毒,无刺激性气味,配制工艺简单,不改变车间现行的工艺规范;配制的改性水玻璃均匀性及稳定性好。
