The invention discloses an intelligent layer-selecting compact shelf which comprises a layer-selecting compact shelf outer cabinet body, the layer-selecting compact shelf outer cabinet body comprises a side plate, a window, a display control screen, an object shelf connecting beam, a window door, a telescopic assembly and a rotating assembly, and the intelligent layer-selecting compact shelf is characterized in that an object shelf comprises a vertical frame, a bottom frame, a chain type layer-selecting driving mechanism and a roller type moving mechanism; vertical frames are connected to the two sides of the bottom frame respectively, chain type layer selection driving mechanisms are connected to the vertical frames and used for achieving the layer selection function, and roller type moving mechanisms are connected to the bottom frame and used for achieving the moving function. The intelligent layer-selecting compact shelf integrates a layer-selecting cabinet and a compact shelf, and the width space occupied by the base of the intelligent layer-selecting compact shelf can be reduced. Space is saved, and the space utilization rate is improved. A discontinuous transition space is not generated, so that data reading/consulting is more coherent, and meanwhile, the supporting strength of the desktop is improved; a reader can conveniently read data at a proper visual angle, and the comfort of the reader when the reader sits to read can be improved.
