The invention relates to a deep foundation pit dewatering method for a strongly-weathered sandstone stratum. According to the method, a dewatering well outside a deep foundation pit of the current strongly-weathered sandstone stratum is used for dewatering outside the deep foundation pit; and then light vacuum well point dewatering is added in the deep foundation pit of the strongly weathered sandstone stratum, and segmented dewatering excavation is carried out. The method is simple and easy to implement, high in speed and low in cost, does not affect the construction period, effectively solves the problems that the strong weathered sandstone stratum is rapidly softened after water permeation and precipitation outside the pit is difficult to achieve, and can be suitable for deep foundation pit precipitation engineering of the strong weathered sandstone stratum.
