The invention relates to an abutment cap bracket support type construction method. The method comprises the two steps of abutment body construction and abutment cap construction. The step of constructing the abutment body comprises the following steps of: manufacturing reinforcing steel bars based on a drawing of the abutment body; erecting a wall body template according to the height of the wall body; oppositely-pulling rods are arranged on the wall body formworks in a penetrating mode; wall body concrete is poured; the wall body formwork is dismantled; the step cap construction process comprises the following steps of: supporting a bracket bracket by utilizing a pull rod hole of the opposite pull rod; a construction platform is installed on the bracket support; laying an abutment cap bottom template; cap steel bars and side formworks are installed; pouring abutment cap concrete; and the side formworks and the abutment cap bottom formwork are sequentially dismantled. The construction period can be shortened, and meanwhile the construction cost is reduced.
