The invention discloses an urban and rural water supply integrated system and method with surface water as a water source. The system is composed of a surface water taking subsystem and a water purifying subsystem. The surface water taking subsystem comprises a water taking head part (1) and a water taking pump room (2) communicated with the water taking head part (1); and the water purification subsystem comprises a pressure-stabilizing water distribution well (3), a flocculation sedimentation tank (4), a uniform particle filter material filter tank (5), a clean water tank (6), a water suction well (7) and a water delivery pump room (8) which are communicated in sequence. The processing method disclosed by the invention is as shown in Figure 9. According to the urban and rural integrated water supply system and method with the surface water as the water source, urban and rural integrated water supply is achieved, beneficial allocation and integration of various resources can be achieved, water taking is convenient, the quality of produced drinking water is high, the production process is simple, and the cost is low.
