The snow melting box comprises a snow melting area for bearing snow and a water guide area, and the water guide area is provided with drainage holes; the photovoltaic panel is installed on the top face of the snow melting box, and heat generated in the power generation process of the photovoltaic panel is used for melting snow in the snow melting box. And water generated by snow melting is discharged into the water tank from the drainage hole. The problems of electricity utilization and snow melting can be solved according to the requirements of scientific investigation and engineering temporary residence construction in plateau and alpine unmanned areas; meanwhile, by means of integration, the size of the equipment is reduced, and the purposes of rapid assembly, integrated transportation and installation are achieved.
