The invention discloses a shared bicycle chip with self-locking capability, which is characterized in that the chip comprises a processing unit, a power tube driving logic and a memory, the processing unit is used for continuously acquiring positioning information of a positioning unit outside the chip, calculating duration time of a shared bicycle at a certain place, and storing the duration time of the shared bicycle at the certain place. The controller is used for calling a first threshold value from the memory and comparing the duration with the first threshold value so as to output a first control signal to the power tube driving logic and motor driving circuit; and the power tube driving logic and the motor driving circuit are jointly used for switching on power supply to the motor and driving the motor to perform self-locking on a lock of the shared bicycle under the action of the first control signal. According to the shared bicycle chip, the safety can be improved in response to the situation that a user forgets to lock the shared bicycle.
