The invention discloses a novel counter weight type residual pressure valve adopting a movable valve plate and a mounting structure of the novel counter weight type residual pressure valve. The residual pressure valve comprises a top plate, a side plate and a bottom plate, a movable valve plate covers the inner side of a valve port of the bottom plate, the bottom plate is hinged to one end of the movable valve plate, and a heavy hammer moving relative to a hinged shaft is arranged on the movable valve plate. The mounting structure comprises a floor and a wall, a top plate is connected with the floor through a suspender, and side plates are connected with the wall through screws. The method has the beneficial effects that related specifications and technical requirements are met, and a new solution is provided for installation and manufacturing of some special residual pressure valves restricted by the environment; building space is saved, and comprehensive arrangement of indoor pipelines is facilitated.
