The invention discloses a production process of a BIPV curtain wall with a thermal insulation metal back plate, which specifically comprises the following steps of: processing a photovoltaic power generation plate of the metal back plate; the metal back plate is folded into a box shape; filling a thermal insulation material into the box-shaped metal back plate; and carrying out edge sealing treatment to prevent the thermal insulation material from overflowing, and forming the integrated curtain wall with the photovoltaic power generation panel, the metal back plate and the thermal insulation layer. The production process provided by the invention is high in production efficiency, is used for processing a high-strength curtain wall and facilitates technological process management, and the processed curtain wall has the functions of photovoltaic power generation and heat preservation.
