The invention discloses a skirting line assembly and a mounting method thereof. The skirting line assembly comprises a mounting keel, a connecting plate and a skirting line fastener. The installation keel is used for being detachably fixed to a wall body, the connecting plate is detachably installed on the installation keel, the skirting line fastener is hinged to the connecting plate, the hinge axis of the skirting line fastener is parallel to the horizontal direction of the wall body, and a limiting structure is arranged between the skirting line fastener and the connecting plate. The skirting line fastener rotates around the hinged axis of the skirting line fastener to the position overlapped with the connecting plate, and the limiting structure can limit the relative position between the skirting line fastener and the connecting plate. Through structural optimization, the assembling complexity of the skirting line is simplified, and the skirting line is convenient to disassemble and assemble.
