The invention discloses a top plate transverse stiffening type prestressed concrete wide-body box girder which comprises a concrete top plate, a concrete bottom plate, concrete webs, concrete transverse stiffening ribs and transverse prestressed steel beams. The transverse stiffening ribs are divided into web plate outer transverse stiffening ribs and web plate inner transverse stiffening ribs; the cross section of the web outer transverse stiffening rib is a trapezoidal cross section, and the thickness of the cross section is linearly increased from the end part of the cantilever slab to the root part; the transverse stiffening ribs in the web are distributed in the middle in an equal-thickness manner, and the corners are thickened; and transverse prestressed steel beams are arranged in the concrete top plate and the concrete transverse stiffening ribs. The transverse stiffening ribs can reduce the thickness of the cantilever plate of the box girder and reduce the self weight of the top plate of the box girder, so that the length of the cantilever plate is prolonged, and meanwhile, the transverse flexural rigidity of the section of the root of the cantilever plate is ensured; the transverse prestressed steel beams are arranged in the top plate and the transverse stiffening ribs, so that the box girder structure has better deformation performance and crack resistance on the premise of ensuring safety; and the light-weight development of the bridge is promoted.
