The invention discloses an energy-saving electric appliance cabinet for electric power, and relates to the technical field of power distribution cabinets. A cabinet door is hinged to one side of a cabinet body; the limiting piece rotates along with active rotation of the cabinet door along the hinged side, is clamped on one side of the cabinet door and is used for limiting passive rotation of the cabinet door; the detection mechanism is arranged on the cabinet body and/or the cabinet door and is used for judging whether the cabinet door actively rotates or passively rotates or not and judging the rotation direction; and the processor is connected with the detection mechanism and the limiting piece. Through the arrangement of the detection mechanism, the limiting piece and the processor, whether the cabinet door actively rotates or passively rotates and the rotation direction are judged through the detection mechanism, then the limiting piece is driven to rotate along with the rotation of the cabinet door, and the situation that the cabinet door violently impacts the power distribution cabinet body due to excessive force for opening and closing the door is avoided; and after the cabinet door is opened, the cabinet door is limited, the situation that the cabinet door is passively closed accidentally due to external force such as wind is avoided, and meanwhile the cabinet door can be conveniently opened to any angle within the range of 0-90 degrees.
