The invention relates to an energy-saving green building curtain wall and a using method thereof.The energy-saving green building curtain wall comprises a structural frame and a plurality of pieces of folding glass installed in the structural frame, and rotating pieces rotationally connected with the structural frame are arranged on the two sides, perpendicular to the length direction, of the folding glass correspondingly; the two ends, in the length direction, of the multiple pieces of folding glass abut against each other to form a folding glass set, an adjusting piece connected with the rotating piece is arranged on the structural frame, and the adjusting piece is used for driving the multiple pieces of folding glass to rotate clockwise or anticlockwise in the length direction of the folding glass. The multiple pieces of folding glass are driven to rotate through the adjusting pieces, so that the gaps allowing air flow to pass through are formed between the adjacent pieces of folding glass, the folding glass is located in the structural frame all the time during rotation, the connecting strength of the glass frame and the overall folding glass set is enhanced, and therefore the risk that the glass falls off is reduced, and the safety coefficient of a curtain wall is increased.
