The invention discloses a distributed pumped storage power station serving a sponge city. The water storage system is composed of an upper reservoir and a lower reservoir, and the reversible unit is arranged between the upper reservoir and the lower reservoir and used for generating power. The reversible unit is connected with a wind power plant and a photovoltaic power station which are used for supplying power to the sponge city, and the lower reservoir is communicated to a waterworks through a water pump unit. Wind power plants, photovoltaic power stations, distributed pumped storage power stations and sponge cities in cities or around the cities are combined, water resources such as short-time rainstorm and urban inland inundation can be utilized for power generation for areas with sponge city construction requirements, and power can be supplied for recycling of the water resources.
