Impregnating resins for woven or stitched fabrics
The subject of the invention is a method for reinforcing a constructed structure in which a woven or stitched fabric is impregnated with an impregnating resin comprising a resin component comprising at least one epoxy resin and a hardener component comprising at least one amine of formula (I), said woven or stitched fabric being wrapped and/or adhered to the constructed structure. The method according to the invention is preferably used to increase the seismic safety of buildings, as a replacement of reinforcements of the interiors of the concrete, to increase the strength and ductility of building structures or to increase payloads. The present invention relates to an impregnating resin composition which enables the application of an emission-free impregnating resin having a low odor, which has a long open time and can well penetrate into a fabric, shows rapid and reliable curing without the tendency of fogging, and forms a dry, non-tacky surface. The cured impregnating resin has high strength, high glass transition temperature, and good adhesive properties, enabling the reinforced structure to have good durability and long term stability.
