The connecting structure at least comprises a connector, a water stop belt, a connecting piece and an edge sealing steel bar. The connector is connected with the water stop belt, and the connecting piece is connected with the water stop belt; the edge sealing steel bars are provided with grooves corresponding to the connecting pieces, and the grooves are connected with the connecting pieces. And the water stop belt is made of a flexible material. According to the construction method, the front wall and the rear adjacent wall are connected based on the connecting structure, and the underground diaphragm wall is formed. By means of the connector, the water stop belt, the connecting piece and the edge sealing steel bar which are connected in sequence, the front wall is connected with the rear adjacent wall; the water stop belt is made of flexible materials and can adapt to differential deformation, concrete shrinkage and creep deformation at the connecting position, seepage caused by differential deformation is avoided, and then the waterproof and water stop effects are achieved.
