The concrete pavement dowel bar temporary fixing device comprises a base, and an end formwork and a bar piece supporting plate are arranged on the base; the end template and the rod piece supporting plate are respectively provided with a positioning hole for a dowel bar to penetrate through, the end template comprises an upper template and a lower template which are detachably connected, the upper template is provided with an upper clamping groove, the lower template is provided with a lower clamping groove corresponding to the upper clamping groove, and the upper clamping groove and the lower clamping groove are combined to form the positioning hole. A positioning sleeve is arranged in the positioning hole, the dowel bar penetrates through the positioning sleeve, and the end template and the rod piece supporting plate can slide on the base so as to change the distance between the end template and the rod piece supporting plate. The method has the effects that the risk that the dowel bar moves in the pouring process is reduced, and the mounting stability of the dowel bar is improved.
