The invention discloses a subway station cover and excavation top-down steel pipe concrete center column positioning method which comprises the steps that after a pile hole is obtained, a pile casing is buried in the upper section of the pile hole, the axis of the pile casing coincides with the axis of the pile hole, and the outer side wall of the pile casing abuts against the side wall of the pile hole; foundation piles are arranged at designated positions in the bottoms of the pile holes; a full-slewing drilling machine is installed on the pile hole, the steel pipe column is lowered to the designated position of the pile hole through the full-slewing drilling machine, and the perpendicularity of the steel pipe column is controlled in the lowering process; the bottom of the steel pipe column and the foundation pile are poured together through concrete till the designed elevation is reached; a second reinforcement cage is put down and installed at the top of the steel pipe column, gravel is backfilled in the pile hole, and the steel casing is pulled out; excavating a soil layer between the road and the elevation of the station top plate, and constructing the subway station top plate. The steel pipe column is matched with the tool column with the reflective strip, downward running is conducted through the full-slewing drilling machine, monitoring is conducted through the total station, and vertical downward running of the steel pipe column can be guaranteed.
