The invention discloses a low-voltage power distribution cabinet with a self-sealing protection structure and a protection method thereof.The low-voltage power distribution cabinet comprises a cabinet body, an outer protection door, a reserved through groove, a connecting rod piece, a gas conveying hose and a rotating piece, the outer end of the cabinet body is rotationally connected with the outer protection door, and the reserved through groove is formed in the inner end of the outer protection door; and meanwhile, an electromagnet piece is installed on the inner side of the reserved through groove, a butt joint movable disc is installed at the inner end of the outer protective door in a nested mode, and the inner end of the butt joint movable disc is fixedly connected with a butt joint bearing.
