Sliding support device
A support device (MC2) for slidably supporting and linearly moving an object, such as a fan blade, along a longitudinal axis (X). A magnetic restoring force is generated on the object by cooperation of a magnetic flux generator (54, 56) and an element (10) that reacts to the magnetic field. The first element (10) can slide parallel to the (X) axis during displacement of the object and correspondingly presents a cross-section (62) having a width that varies along the length of the first element (10) parallel to said axis (X) when viewed in a plane orthogonal to the axis (X).
