The invention discloses an arc-shaped spaced pile retaining structure for a steep terrain in a mountainous area and an implementation method. An arc-shaped interval pile type soil retaining structure is formed by interval row piles, pressing beams, filling type waist beams and angular point resistance piles at the two ends. According to the structure, soil pressure behind the piles is converted into axial force along the arch axis, the axial force is transmitted to the resistance piles through the pressing beams and the filling type waist beams together, thrust in the arch axis direction is resisted through the resistance piles and passive soil pressure behind the piles together, a safe and stable supporting system is formed, and the problems that a conventional soil retaining structure is large in construction difficulty and high in safety risk are solved.
