The invention provides an industrial solid waste based stone crystal floor base material and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of stone-wood polymer composite floors. The industrial solid waste based stone crystal floor base material is prepared by compounding molten iron desulphurization slag ultrafine powder, iron tailing slag ultrafine powder and calcium sulfate whiskers with resin powder, a stabilizer mixture, a plasticizer-lubricant mixture and a foaming agent-foaming regulator mixture. The stone crystal floor base material prepared by the invention not only has water resistance and moisture resistance, but also has greatly improved wear resistance and flame retardance. The problem that a traditional stone crystal floor base material needs to consume primary resources such as light calcium carbonate powder and talcum powder is solved; light calcium carbonate powder belongs to silicate, so that the wear resistance and the flame retardant property need to be improved; the method solves the problem that molten iron desulfurization slag, iron tailing slag and semi-dry desulfurization ash are difficult to utilize, especially high-added-value utilization, and meets the current industrial development requirements of energy conservation, environmental protection and circular economy.
