The length adjusting mechanism comprises two supporting assemblies and a tie screw, each supporting assembly comprises two bearing plates and a first hinge shaft, one ends of the two bearing plates are hinged through the first hinge shafts, the other ends of the two bearing plates are hinged to the opposite ends of the two column sections respectively, the first hinge shafts of the two supporting assemblies are arranged in the same direction and are provided with threaded through holes respectively, and the tie screw is arranged in the threaded through holes. The two ends of the tie screw are screwed into the threaded through holes of the first hinge shafts of the two supporting assemblies respectively, each supporting plate is provided with an inner side and an outer side, the inner sides of the two supporting plates of the supporting assemblies are oppositely arranged, and the inner sides of the supporting plates of the two supporting assemblies are oppositely arranged. The problem that an existing deep foundation pit supporting structure is difficult to move and adjust is solved.
