The invention discloses a connecting device, a steel structure frame and a mounting method. The connecting device comprises a cross beam, a connecting piece and a rotating piece. The cross beam comprises two first connecting parts, and the two first connecting parts are arranged at the two ends of the cross beam correspondingly. The number of the connecting pieces is four, two connecting pieces are arranged on the two opposite faces of one first connecting part respectively, and the other two connecting pieces are arranged on the two opposite faces of the other first connecting part respectively. The rotating pieces comprise bases and rotating rods, the bases are arranged on the cross beam, one ends of the rotating rods are rotationally connected with the bases, and the other ends of the rotating rods are connected with the connecting pieces. The connecting piece is suitable for being connected with the stand column and the first connecting part at the same time. According to the connecting device, the connecting piece and the cross beam are hoisted at the same time, hoisting steps are reduced, the connecting piece does not need labor-consuming auxiliary operation of constructors, time and labor are saved, and safety is improved.
