The present application relates to a load-transmitting connection element (1) for establishing a connection between a first building element and a second building element. The load transfer connection element is adapted to transfer forces between two building elements. The load transfer connection element (1) comprises an elongated box-shaped body (24), in which a first end (3) of the load transfer connection element (1) is arranged for attachment into a first building element, and another second end (4) of the load transfer connection element (1) is positioned to protrude from the first building element. The second end (4) is adapted to be accommodated in a cavity (13) arranged in a second building element and is provided with an attachment area (5) for attaching a lifting device (8) for handling the first building element.
