The invention discloses a preparation method of an atomizing core and an atomizer. The preparation method of the atomizing core comprises the following steps: mixing first silicon carbide, a first pore-forming agent and a first binder, and performing compression molding to obtain a blank bottom layer; mixing second silicon carbide, silicon powder, nickel powder, molybdenum powder, graphite, a second pore forming agent and a second binder to obtain conductive powder; conducting powder is pressed and formed on the green body bottom layer to form a green body top layer, and a composite green body is obtained; and sintering the composite green body to obtain the atomizing core. According to the preparation method, the conductive powder is pressed and formed on the blank bottom layer to form the blank top layer, the composite blank is obtained, then the composite blank is sintered, and the atomization core with the liquid guiding function and the heating function integrated is obtained. The preparation process of the preparation method is simple and easy to control, and the atomizing core prepared by the preparation method is of an integrated structure with liquid guiding and heating functions, so that the phenomenon of core pasting caused by separation of liquid guiding and heating in the mounting and using process of the atomizing core is avoided.
