The invention discloses a steel plate composite beam mounting construction method which comprises the following steps: step 1, constructing a gantry crane foundation, and mounting a gantry crane; secondly, a steel beam section assembling site is prepared; 3, unloading and stacking the steel beam units; step 4, mounting a bridge girder erection machine, debugging and passing holes; 5, hoisting the steel beams, and assembling and checking the steel beams; step 6, preparing a mounting bridge site; 7, erecting two front-span steel beams, and laying a first-span bridge deck; eighthly, a third-span steel beam is erected, and a second-span bridge deck slab is laid; ninthly, a fourth-span steel beam is erected, and a third bridge deck slab and a fourth bridge deck slab are laid; tenthly, the bridge girder erection machine passes through the hole to erect the next bridge girder erection machine; eleventhly, the other half range starts to be erected on the regression roadbed section after the half range is communicated; the four-span steel beam and the bridge deck are installed in a split mode, systematic construction is conducted on construction of the steel plate composite beam, and therefore construction efficiency is improved while construction quality is effectively guaranteed.
