The invention provides an elevator shaft formwork collecting system and method. The elevator shaft formwork collecting system comprises a first corner post, a middle shaft, a pulling plate, a second corner post, a sliding mechanism and a lifting mechanism. One side face of the first corner column is open, a sliding mechanism is installed at the opening and slidably connected with the second corner column, and one side face of the second corner column is used for installing a side plate. A lifting mechanism is installed on the top face of the first corner column and connected with the end of the middle shaft, the side face of the middle shaft is hinged to one end of the pulling plate, the other end of the pulling plate is hinged to the second corner column, and the lifting mechanism is used for driving the middle shaft to ascend and descend and further driving the second corner column to move along the sliding mechanism to conduct mold collecting operation. The whole formwork is further lifted after the formwork is collected, so that the construction efficiency is greatly improved, and the formwork is safe to mount and dismount, convenient to mount, time-saving and labor-saving; and the machining cost is low, the precision requirement is low, and wide-range application and popularization can be achieved.
