The invention relates to a high-entropy ceramic modification method of a ceramic-based composite material matrix. The method comprises the following steps: placing the ceramic-based composite material matrix in a high-entropy carbide ceramic precursor solution containing Ti, Hf, Nb, Ta and Mo metal elements for dipping; sequentially carrying out curing and high-temperature cracking to obtain a high-entropy ceramic (Ti < x > 1 > Hf < x > 2 > Nb < x > 3 Ta < x > 4 Mo < x > 5) C matrix with a continuous network structure; dipping in a B4C modified polycarbosilane precursor solution; and sequentially carrying out curing and high-temperature cracking to obtain the high-entropy modified ceramic-based composite material. The invention also relates to the high-entropy modified composite material prepared by the method. The high-entropy modified ceramic-based composite material prepared by the method disclosed by the invention has good mechanical properties.
