The invention discloses a construction method of a short-limb masonry wall, and relates to the field of building construction. The construction method of the short-limb masonry wall comprises the following steps: setting out and positioning the masonry wall; constructional column reserved connecting ribs are arranged according to the height of the building blocks, so that at least two constructional column reserved connecting ribs are arranged at the two ends of an abutted seam between every two layers of building blocks respectively, and the two ends of each constructional column reserved connecting rib are anchored into the constructional column on one side and the abutted seam between the two layers of building blocks respectively; pouring a reverse ridge, a constructional column and a wall top ring beam; the top face of the reverse ridge is sequentially connected through cement mortar from bottom to top to obtain multiple layers of building blocks, the two ends of each layer of building blocks are connected with the constructional columns on the two sides through the cement mortar, at least two building block connecting ribs are arranged in an abutted seam between every two layers of building blocks, and each building block connecting rib is connected with two constructional column reserved connecting ribs; and a gap between the top of the building block on the topmost layer and the wall top ring beam is densely filled with polystyrene foam. According to the construction method of the short-limb masonry wall, the connecting strength of the building blocks and the constructional columns can be improved, and safety risks caused by falling of the building blocks are avoided.
