The invention relates to a connecting structure at a bridge widening position and a construction technology thereof, the connecting structure comprises a plurality of connecting units and a covering unit, and each connecting unit comprises a pressure-bearing connecting piece connected to a new bridge and an old bridge; the two ends of the supporting connecting rod are flexibly connected to the pressure-bearing connecting piece, and the supporting connecting rod can rotate and slide relative to the pressure-bearing connecting piece along the connecting position of the supporting connecting rod; the supporting frame is arranged on the supporting connecting rod in a sleeving manner; each pressure-bearing connecting piece is connected with a guide steel sheet extending towards the pressure-bearing connecting piece on the other side, each guide steel sheet penetrates through at least one supporting frame and then is connected with one side of one supporting frame, and each supporting frame is provided with a guide gap allowing the corresponding guide steel sheet to penetrate through. The covering unit comprises a plurality of fixing parts, one end of each fixing part is connected to the upper end face of one supporting frame; and the water stop belts are connected between the adjacent fixing pieces. The method has the effect of improving the continuity of the width splicing position of the bridge.
