A decorative structure is provided with: a plurality of base materials that extend in a first direction and are provided parallel to each other at predetermined intervals in a second direction intersecting the first direction; and a plurality of plates attached to each of two base materials adjacent to each other in the second direction among the plurality of base materials, each of the plurality of base materials having a protrusion protruding in the second direction, the plurality of plates each having: a body portion having an outer edge portion having a square shape in plan view; and four leg parts which are respectively arranged along four sides of the outer edge part and extend from the outer edge part in a direction intersecting with the main body part, the four leg parts have the same shape, and the four leg parts are respectively provided with insertion holes through which the protruding parts can be inserted. The plate is attached by inserting the protruding portion of one of the two base materials into an insertion hole provided in one of the four legs.
