The invention discloses a top beam hinged box structure which comprises a square steel pipe column, an H-shaped steel beam top beam and an H-shaped steel beam bottom beam, the top beam hinged box structure is of a cuboid frame structure, and the end of the H-shaped steel beam bottom beam is connected with the lower end of the square steel pipe column through a rigid connection joint. The H-shaped steel beam top beam is connected with the upper end of the square steel pipe column through a hinge system. A hinge system is adopted for connection, and the hinge system has the rotatable characteristic, so that the H-shaped steel beam top beam and the square steel pipe column can rotate around a rotating shaft of the hinge system to a certain degree, the bending moment distributed by the top beam is reduced, it can be guaranteed that the top beam does not provide bending rigidity, and the structure can be designed according to a traditional frame structure; and the borne bending moment is located on the midspan cross section, the cross section size can be reduced without the top beam participating in the structural design, and the clearance is increased.
