The tumbling barrel for adjusting the discharging height of the concrete mixture comprises a barrel body, the caliber of an upper end opening of the barrel body is larger than that of a lower end opening of the barrel body, and the outer diameter of the barrel body is continuously reduced from top to bottom; the outer wall of the lower end opening of the cylinder body protrudes from inside to outside in the radial direction of the cylinder body to form a plurality of bearing parts, and the bearing parts are evenly distributed around the axis of the cylinder body at intervals, so that an avoiding groove is formed between every two adjacent bearing parts; the inner wall of the upper end opening of the cylinder body protrudes from outside to inside in the radial direction of the cylinder body to form a plurality of supported bosses, and the supported bosses are evenly distributed around the axis of the cylinder body at intervals; the unloading height of a concrete mixture can be flexibly adjusted along with rising of a base of a foundation pit, and safety accidents are avoided. The invention further discloses a using method of the tumbling barrel for adjusting the discharging height of the concrete mixture, and the using method comprises the step of disassembling, specifically, along with rising of a base of a foundation pit, the barrel body at the bottommost part is disassembled.
