The invention provides a steel column base reinforcing process which comprises the following steps: S10, supporting a first template on the periphery of the top of an original structural beam, pouring concrete into the first template, forming a foundation column after solidification, and disassembling the first template; s20, a column foot bottom plate is placed on the top of the foundation column, an anchor bolt is implanted into the column foot bottom plate, and the bottom end of the anchor bolt extends into the foundation column; s30, a steel column is fixed to the column base bottom plate; and S40, a second formwork is supported on the periphery of the top of the column foot bottom plate, concrete is poured into the second formwork, a wrapping foot is formed after solidification, and the second formwork is detached. According to the steel column foot reinforcing process, the height of an original structural beam is increased, the fixing stability of a column foot bottom plate is improved, and then the structural strength of the steel column is improved; the anchor bolts are connected with the wrapping feet, the column foot bottom plates and the foundation columns from the top ends to the bottom ends, and the structural strength is enhanced.
