The invention relates to the technical field of magnesium oxide boards, in particular to a magnesium oxide board and a preparation process thereof. The magnesium oxide board sequentially comprises a magnesium oxide board body, a connecting layer and a primer layer, wherein the magnesium oxide board body comprises a glass fiber body and a filling body for filling and coating the glass fiber body; the glass fiber body extends out of the filling body in the direction of the primer layer to form a glass fiber net part, and the connecting layer comprises the glass fiber net part and a permeation paint part used for filling the glass fiber net part. According to the magnesium oxide board, the glass fiber net part and the glass fiber body in the magnesium oxide board body are integrally formed, so that the bonding strength of the connecting layer and the magnesium oxide board body is ensured; the permeation paint part is used as a coating foundation of the primer layer and has good compatibility with the primer layer, so that the connection strength of the connection layer and the primer layer is ensured; meanwhile, the glass fiber net part provides a large number of permeable net holes for the permeable paint part, and the bonding strength between the glass fiber net part and the permeable paint part is guaranteed. On the basis, the bonding strength between the magnesium oxide board body and the primer layer is effectively improved.
