The invention provides a kitchen faucet and an installation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of bathroom accessories, the kitchen faucet comprises a faucet body provided with a water nozzle and a handle, a valve core, a valve seat, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe; the water outlet pipe is in butt joint with the water outlet of the valve element and communicated with the water nozzle. The water inlet pipe is in butt joint with the water inlet of the valve element through a water inlet connector. The handle is in linkage with the valve element and used for controlling and switching water outlet. The water outlet is provided with an adapter used for being connected to a water outlet pipe. The valve seat comprises an upper installation cavity suitable for the valve element, a lower clamping cavity suitable for the water inlet connector and a middle limiting cavity suitable for the adapter. The water inlet connector is directly communicated with a water inlet of the valve element. The adapter is arranged on the water inlet joint, an inlet of the adapter is butted to the water outlet, and an outlet of the adapter is butted to the water outlet pipe; the limiting cavity is used for limiting the amplitude of relative rotation of the adapter in the valve seat so as to correspondingly control the rotation angle of the water nozzle.
