The present invention relates to a structure for opening and closing a manhole cover using a screw, the structure being provided with a detachable bracket on the inside of a manhole frame, the screw penetrating the manhole cover and having a head having a corner at the upper end thereof being coupled to the bracket, the structure comprising: a nut holder formed in the center of the bracket, the center of the nut holder having a fastening hole formed through up and down; the fastening hole is provided with an inclined surface which becomes wider from the upper part to the lower part, and more than one guide part is formed on the inclined surface in the vertical direction along the inclined surface. A plurality of nut members each having an upper outer peripheral surface formed so as to correspond to the inclined surface and a plurality of inner peripheral surfaces formed in the longitudinal direction so as to form a threaded groove corresponding to a screw, the plurality of nut members engaging with the guide portion and moving up and down within the fastening hole; a support plate having a through hole through which a screw passes formed in the center thereof and supporting the lower portion of the nut member; the spring is positioned at the lower part of the supporting plate; and an annular spring support which is located at the lower part of the center of the support and supports a spring.
