A lifting device of a self-control type high-rise elevator comprises an elevator shaft, a toothed belt and a lift car, rollers are evenly arranged on the upper portion and the lower portion of the inner wall body of one end of the elevator shaft, rollers are evenly arranged on the upper portion and the lower portion of the inner wall body of the other end of the elevator shaft, and the rollers on the inner wall body of one end of the elevator shaft are linearly aligned. The rollers on the inner wall body at the other end of the elevator shaft are also linearly aligned, the two uppermost rollers are respectively driven by a motor, the two lowermost rollers are respectively driven by a motor, the peripheries of the rollers on the inner wall bodies at the two sides of the elevator shaft are respectively provided with a toothed belt, a lift car is arranged between the two toothed belts, and the lift car is connected with the elevator shaft. A computer is arranged in the box body at one corner of the lower part of the rear side of the elevator shaft; the lifting device is stable in starting and high in safety coefficient; and thirdly, abrasion is not easily caused.
