The invention belongs to the technical field of nodular cast iron product production, and particularly relates to a nodular cast iron water grate production process which comprises the following steps: 1) preparing a cover seat; the cover seat is made of a high-strength nodular cast iron material; (2) preparing a cover plate, wherein the cover plate is made of a corrosion-resistant nodular cast iron material; (3) preparing a supporting plate spring; the supporting plate spring is formed by laminating and combining a plurality of spring pieces, and the spring pieces are made of a high-toughness nodular cast iron material; and 4) assembling. The nodular cast iron water grate manufactured through the production technology is of a combined structure, assembling and later maintenance are convenient, the supporting plate spring is additionally arranged between the cover base and the cover plate, force exerted on the cover plate from the outside can be converted into elastic potential energy and released, and the service life of the cover plate is prolonged. And the cover seat, the cover plate and the supporting plate spring select different nodular cast iron formula principles according to own requirements, so that the advantages of nodular cast iron materials can be better exerted.
