The invention discloses a bridge modular telescopic device and a mounting and overhauling method thereof.The bridge modular telescopic device comprises a supporting module and a displacement module which are fixed to first edge beams, and the first edge beams are arranged on the two sides of a middle beam; the supporting module comprises a supporting box cover plate, a reinforcing rib, an edge beam connecting plate, a pressing support, a supporting box, a cross beam, a pressure-bearing support and a middle beam connecting plate, the supporting box is fixedly connected to the first edge beam through the reinforcing rib, the pressing support and the pressure-bearing support form sliding pairs with the upper surface and the lower surface of the cross beam respectively, and the middle beam connecting plate is fixedly connected to the cross beam; each lane is provided with at least two middle beam connecting plates, middle beam sections are fixed to the middle beam connecting plates of the different lanes, the displacement module comprises a hinge, the two ends of the hinge are fixed to the displacement module and the middle beam respectively, a supporting box cover plate used for overhauling is fixed to the top of the supporting box through bolts, and the supporting box cover plate is not covered with concrete. The problems that transition zone concrete needs to be damaged and the whole road needs to be blocked when the bridge expansion device is overhauled are solved.
