The barrier gate control mechanism with the self-locking function comprises a chassis, a groove disc which is connected with a barrier gate and can horizontally rotate is arranged on the chassis, a wheel shaft disc which can horizontally rotate is arranged above the side, corresponding to the groove disc, of the chassis, a first U-shaped groove is formed in the side wall of the groove disc in the radial direction, and a second U-shaped groove is formed in the side wall of the groove disc in the radial direction. A first wheel shaft which protrudes downwards out of the bottom face of the wheel shaft disc and corresponds to the first U-shaped groove is arranged on the wheel shaft disc, the connecting line between the first wheel shaft and the axis of the wheel shaft disc is perpendicular to the length line of the first U-shaped groove, and when the first wheel shaft is located at a groove opening of the first U-shaped groove, the groove disc cannot rotate, and the barrier gate is in a closed state. The self-locking barrier gate has the advantages that when the barrier gate is suddenly acted by external force, the locking state of the barrier gate can be kept, self-locking is achieved, the tooth breaking problem is avoided, normal work of the barrier gate is guaranteed, and the maintenance cost is reduced.
