This electric construction machine is provided with: a construction machine main body that can be connected to a power supply unit (S); an electric motor (35) that is mounted on the construction machine main body and that is driven on the basis of power supplied from the power supply unit (S); a hydraulic pump (21) that is mounted on the construction machine main body and that discharges hydraulic oil by being driven by the electric motor (35); a hydraulic actuator (23) that is mounted on the construction machine main body and that is driven by the hydraulic oil; a motor controller (45) that detects a power supply state, which is a state in which power is supplied from the power supply unit (S) to the motor (35); and a notification unit (60) that notifies an operator of information on the detected power supply state. As a result, it is possible for an operator to know information about the state of power supply to the motor.
