The invention provides a self-resetting steel beam column joint with a composite energy dissipation mechanism. The self-resetting steel beam column joint comprises two outer restraining plates and an inner rotating plate. The inner end of the inner rotating plate is clamped by the inner ends of the two outer restraining plates, and the inner rotating plate and the outer restraining plates are rotationally connected through a pin shaft; a plurality of energy dissipation steel bars penetrating through the outer restraining plate and the inner rotating plate are arranged around the center of the pin shaft, the outer end of the inner rotating plate is fixedly connected with the steel beam, and the outer end of the outer restraining plate is fixedly connected with the steel column. One end of a prestressed steel strand penetrates through the steel column and is fixedly connected with the steel column through a locking bolt, and the other end of the prestressed steel strand penetrates through the outer end of the inner rotating plate and an end plate of the steel beam and is fixedly connected with the steel beam through a locking bolt; the prestress steel strand provides reset force for the inner rotating plate and the outer restraining plate after rotating displacement occurs. The steel strand is adopted for resetting, the space requirement of the joint is not increased, and normal assembly of the wall and the floor slab can be ensured.
