Three-dimensional printed building components and structures
A residential or commercial building, structure or building component may include an outer member, an inner member, and a plurality of cross members spatially disposed therebetween. Each of the outer member, the inner member, the cross member may be formed from a multilayer stack of polymeric materials made by a layer-by-layer three-dimensional printing process, and all may be integrated as a whole. The outer surface region of the outer member may have an integrally formed surface finish. An overlying finishing layer or tie layer may be added. The outer and inner members may be configured to be arranged in parallel to form a rectangular or curvilinear building block. A filler material may be disposed in an opening between the outer member and the inner member, and an inner surface area at the inner member may include a cavity configured for an electrical box, conduit, or sensing device.
